"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord..."
Our desire at Emmanuel Baptist Church is to glorify God through our music. We believe that music should be doctrinally sound. We use a mixture of the standard hymns of the past and conservative composers from the present. Our music is not for performance (for the applause or approval of man), but is a ministry, edifying the believer and glorifying God. Colossians 3:16 says, Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Our music ministry seeks to create an atmosphere of worship and prepares hearts for the preaching of God's Word.
Emmanuel Baptist Church offers many opportunities for the entire family to be involved in the music program. We offer two adult choirs and a teen choir. Members who play musical instruments can be involved with the orchestra, special music, and our annual Christmas program.
