Admission Policy
Emmanuel Baptist Christian Academy believes that God has given the responsibility for educating children to parents, and that He permits the Christian School to exist within His will to act with parents in educating their children (Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Proverbs 22:6).
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
We acknowledge Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and accept the Holy Bible as the rule of faith and practice. The truths of God's Word must be integrated in all facets of the educational process.
Because our school is thoroughly Christian, we place an emphasis on spiritual training. We base our beliefs upon the Holy Bible, and it is from God's Word that we derive our standards and teach all of our students. The school seeks to enroll students who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, who have at least one parent who professes salvation through Jesus Christ by grace alone, whose families attend fundamental churches, whose parents substantially agree with our school on spiritual matters and who will manifest a spirit of true cooperation in this area.
Teachers are the authority in the classroom and represent the authority of the parent; therefore we expect a spirit of concern and respect between students, parents and staff. Attendance at Emmanuel Baptist Christian Academy is a privilege and not a right. If at any time a student's conduct, academic progress or cooperation with the school administration is not acceptable, the school has the right to dismiss the student from enrollment in EBCA.
Emmanuel Baptist Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to the students of our school.
